Alright, the other day I went to a Bar council launch of the redbook pamphlet, adn the fact is I find it quite usefull. I mean, you don't want Kugan's case happen to you rite?

Alright.
Do you know what to do when you meet the cops? (no dear, bribery doesn't count) and do you have any idea what color on the police identification card means what? (heh!)

There's alot more, so I better just give you all a summary.

Ok, imagine you are driving on the road, a police car came and stopped you.
You have the rights to ask to see their identification. Well, with or without uniform. but be nice to them la ok. They also working ma..

If their identification is red, go away. It means that they are suspended and have absolutely NO RIGHTS to do anything to you. If it's blue/white/yellow, it means they are cops, but white means they are reserve police. (no you dont laugh at them for being a backup ok? it's ok to be reserve cops.)

Ok, then if he ask for your details, give him your IC, and if he ask you about other things, be nice and ask the police if you are under arrest.
If you are not, walk away or u can refuse to follow him to the police station. Remember, mr police cannot arrest you just because your a potential witness and want to take your statement.

but if u are under arrest (oh i hope not), you should NOT fight or resist, because they can use "reasonable force" to catch you. eh you fight mean give them reason to add another name on their "I-have-kill-them-list" la.. true? =p ok la i kd only, but they cna use force if u resist so DONT give them any excuse to hurt you..

You have the rights to call your lawyer/ relative or frens, it's your rights so make sure you lazy bums pick up the phone and call ok?

sigh. Not again.

Sigh.

After two months away from college, returning here is like going to a strange place, starting college all over again.

Everything looked different, the people are not the same anymore, and even the place seems a little strange. However, despite all the changes, some never change in anyway or what so ever. I know I might sound a little biased here, but hey, this is still my thoughts, after all.

I thought, when I come back, at the very least I can feel a little more like home, but guess I was wrong. Some people will never change, in the sense of attitude. I could not believe that I being myself, sitting at a corner minding my own business will also get myself a scolding. Wow, what a homey feeling.

IACT today, made a big mistake, for their first time ever large scale open day. No, I don’t mean them trying their hardest to push me away, scold me and made me feel like I rather work forever and not go back to college even though working is hard and stressful at times… I think I speak for the whole IACT student group who does not include those who are doing work, of course.

IACT seems to have forgotten the most important element for the college - the students, and intern or not, we still belong to IACT and we are always a part of it. I have always been proud of IACT, and proud being one of it, but today, it only further proven my point of some of the people here sometimes, well, are not as nice as they seem. Some, I assume they know who they are, will only be nice to those who will bring them income, or any form of assistance, for those who doesn’t, just don’t worth a single cent to them.

I guess I finally knew why some of the seniors refuse to come back to college on weekends, and those who once talked bad about IACT, I think IACT have proven those people right.

I'm sorry IACT. Guess your JUST another college.

Vday Eve
- rush back from work to KJ and pray that Wondermilk is open so I can get cuppycakes fo my bestie for vday while getting Jc's pressie from her! Because Im sure she won't expect anything from me! *evil laugh* she is going to be so surprised!

- Get Jc to pick me from KJ and rush to Wondermilk and pray that they are still open and still got cuppycakes because they don't take orders anymore so I can't order and I had to buy the ready made once. *sigh*

- Pass the cuppycakes to sher n see her surprise face!

Vday
- Let Jc do all the planning because I want a special Vday because it's our first vday tgt. (gosh i hope he rmbrs to book the movie tickets) *prays that he brings me to ikea because I craved for their ice cream*

Vday eve
- Rushed back from work and only arrived at KJ at 7.20pm

- Jc picked me up from KJ at 730 and we arrive at wondermilk at 8. *owh gosh, I can't tell u how anxious i was praying that wondermilk is still open cuz i forgot was it nine or eight they close*

- Got to wondermilk, they haven't close yet. But they ran outta cupacakes! owh no! I have to go get them on Sat first thing in the morning and sherree have class! *dilemma* *frustrated no. 1*

- reach sher's house and collected Jc's pressie (she was helping me with some super important details cz I didnt have time, wad m i going to do without my bestie!), sherree looks upset..She must be really busy with her work.. owh no I wish i had the cupcakes! =(

- reach Jc's house and talked to the maid and bro about car arrangement and realised the bro wants the car the whole day! and didnt want to share at all.. as in don't want to send us anywhere at all! *frustrated no.2*

- More discussions, and found out Mr Jc DID NOT plan anything for vday! owh no! there goes my vday! *starts planning in my head* *frustrated no.3*

Vday!
- Woke up at 7.30am to finish up Jc's pressie, it's a little scrapbook that have our pictures and some writing on it.. =) *damn sleepy ok*

- Jc overslept and only picked me up at 11. *owh no wad if wondermilk got no more cupcakes again?*

- Jc got me flowers! I never had flowers before.. until today! =)

- Went to wondermilk and thank god they still have cupcakes, but only six boxes left! =( and then it was 12 (jc's bro DEMANDED to have to car by 1pm)

- Rushed to Sher's house n drop the cuppacakes to her dad. hope she is still surprise! =)

- Had to rush home and abandon the plan to go shopping to baking stuff because it's almost 1pm. *Owh we decided to just stay home and bake LA cuz got no car and didnt want to mafan the dad to send us around*

- Reach home and only to find the bro only leaves at 2.30. Cilaka punya budak! thank goodness Jc's maid have flour and butter at home.

- Sherree called and told me she was surprised! *yay! she put a big smile on my face to know tht she is happy!*

- Baked with Jc and finished only two hours later because we were playing with flour.. =p and he was busy eating off the egg beater. the cookies came out fine (ok la abit overbaked la). Jc finished them in less then 10 mins. -.-"

- went dinner in Pyramid, Jc's dad sent us there and picked us up.. I felt so bad because he had to go tru the traffic jam and all.. But on the other hand I was glad cz we didnt have car n no need to go round and round looking for parking. =p

Well, end of the story, although it was not like what I planned, but everything turned out fine n I had a great day!
Supposedly Jc bring me out for movie on Sunday bcause I didnt get to watch it on Vday (everything was fully booked on vday).
However, we changed our plan due to "unforesee circumstances" and continue baking. It was so fun baking with Jc we decided to make every sunday our baking day! =)


P/s: Jc finally got me a ring, its so sweet of him going around OU just to look for the ring I said I like, but he failed to find it la of cuz OU so big ok. but the one i got now is nice too..

Random statements,because it's a random day today. =)

- I find myself not being very helpful in the office because of my poor command on english. Apologies to my colleagues.

- Guys that wears V-neck looks awfully gay. Yes that includes you too JC dear.

- Perak situation is really exciting. Shame on those of you who have absolutely no idea what is going on.

- All youth who see themselves as Malaysian should know about politics, like it or not, politics affects us.

- Yes I do realise myself sounding extremely mature, boring as it may sound, I like myself better now. At least I am proud to call myself a part of Malaysia.

- I am falling in love with the life of journalism. (as stated in my FB status)

- I can translate Chinese news better now compare to one month ago.

- I processed a press statement today, I don't particularly like it as now the focus is on Perak, but I don't dislike it. It's part of my job now. =) No, it's not that hard.

- I know the "right" way to write a press release now, IF you want them to be published. (but perhaps I'm wrong as I work in a politic-based news site)

- I can talk to Myoe about politics now. *laughs* and I have finally come to realise his intention of brainwashing us to know about politics is good.

- My laptop is still in bad condition - it dies everytime I move it. (note* again, don't buy compaq presario v3000 series)

- no karyan I have not check the laptop yet, I'm so sorry girl. Will do it real soon alright?

- i'd like to be in Perak now, despite the mess and chaos.

- I miss my friends alot now that I'm "working". Yes Sherree dear, I especially miss you. =)

- As of now (4.44pm, Feb 6, 2009), Pangkor state assemblyperson Dr Zambry Abd Kadir has taken his oath to be the new MB of Perak.

- Carl's Jr and sushi is in my mind now, beside trying to get more work in the office.

- RPK is the founder of malaysiatoday, not "kini". FYI.

- It's raining now in Bangsar. I know because I work here.

- I can't wait to go to sushi buffet next weekend, and I hope Gabriel's suggestion to Umaiya comes true.

- Currently quite free in the office, hence the blogging.
